Thanks for a great week! See you in 2015!

Year four of the Bay Area Running Camp was a great success, thanks to our campers, staff, presenters and sponsors.  We were glad to have met so many new faces and reconnect with our returners, and hope everyone had fun and learned a lot along the way.  Next year's dates will come out soon!  Stay tuned, and keep running!

If you would like to join the last three weeks of our youth summer running program on Mondays and Wednesdays, please join in!  Monday July 28, we will meet at the lower parking lot of Edgewood Road (10 Old Stagecoach Road) at 7:45am for an aerobic trail run.  Wednesday as usual will be at Red Morton Park (1120 Roosevelt / McGarvey Field) for warm up, drills and strides, fartlek, and light plyos.  See you there!

Camp is around the corner - huge thank you to our partners!

We are very excited to greet all the campers next week, and wanted to recognize the amazing support of our partners and sponsors, who have been invaluable to the Bay Area Running Camp experience.  Each of these companies has demonstrated a strong commitment to runners, both the young and young at heart.  We appreciate their involvement with our camp!

Jesse Thomas to speak at Adult Camp

Four-time (and defending) Wildflower 70.3 champion Jesse Thomas will join our Adult Camp this year.  With a unique perspective on transitioning from running to multisport competition, Jesse's story relates well to those seeking high performance as well as those who simply wish to try triathlon for the first time as adults.   He may have a good tale or two to share as well...join us!

In timely way, Jesse's column for Competitor magazine talks about the benefits of going to camp (even if a day camp is more of an after-work treat for a week)!

Check out Jesse and our growing list of 2014 presenters on our speaker roster!
